Kellin took her 'suggestion' into consideration. "I might try and do that sometime. Thanks Ri squared." He chuckled at the new nickname he had called her. He preferred it over 'Riri' which sounded childish and girly. If she didn't approve of it then he'd respect that. It sounded cooler. "Yeah, Ri squared..." he said softly.
He raised his brow as she mentioned the lighter as defense. "You don't need a lighter to defend yourself. You're a pro at wrestling, kid. You can tackle people to death." He smirked and played with the lighter in his hand. He missed holding one, his dad confiscated his months before he was sent to Styrewood. He does that once it's time for Kellin to go back so he won't develop any vices. Kellin was used to the drill, he didn't want to get on an argument with his father since no one ever wins them.
His smirk turned to a grin as Erina mentioned her curiosity. "Curiosity kills cats... and dogs even though they're a lot smarter. Did you ever get curious about anyone else or...? He was starting get cocky again but by now Erina must be used to that. He's an idiot, just as she said.
"Nothing. Bad for the environment. Never mind."

"Ri squared? Aren't nicks supposed to be short and sweet?" she teased, smiling easily; she could get used to it.
She laughed openly when he came to mention that she didn't need the lighter; sure, tackles were rather effective, but constantly being on the floor could become unnerving. Though, of course, physical attacks were certainly far more entertaining and far more strong; besides, being a bestial halfling gave her increased strength, and just as well, there was a limit to how strong a lighter's fire could be.
Along with being able to use it as a defense, the lighter had been her father's, something that he had given her before he left; nevertheless, her answer wasn't necessarily a lie; it was just half of the truth.
"Not really..." she replied easily, too daft to understand what he meant; her curiosity came and went, and he just happened to peak her interest, somehow.
"Environment doesn't mind," she replied, shrugging her shoulders. What, did he want to smoke or something? Having dealt with both her attacks and making the fire, as well as giving her his jacket, she wouldn't mind, really. Erina took off the jacket, handing it to him and sitting beside the fire.

"Yes well, that suits you better than Riri. You already look like a kid, why use a name that sounds like one too." He liked it and she didn't really complain so he'll stick to calling her that.
He smirked and said "My full name's Kellin Johan Quillin, I'm used to having long and tongue-twisting names. Oh yeah, never learned what your full name is?" Hers might be a mouthful too.
He was a little surprised by her answer. "Oh, umm, okaaay?" The awkwardness finally hit him.
Kellin nodded and took the jacket, pulling a stick out from the inside pocket. He was about to light it, but started to doubt the place where they were. Should he smoke alone or stay there by the fire?

Oh, so she looked like a kid? Well, she wasn't going to complain, especially since she was fully aware of how cute she appeared. Of course, she was unable to do much about it, really.
"Kellin Johan Quillin sounds funny," she commented, thinking about her own full name. What was it? It certainly was mouthful. "Umm... Erina Varisha..." she stopped a moment. She hadn't formally introduced herself in ages. "E-V-I-L..." she mumbled, thinking about her name's initials; it had always annoyed her, but that was probably the only way she could recall it."Erina Varisha Iba Layl," she finally concluded, letting out a sigh.
"Whaat?" she asked childishly, looking up at with wide-eyed.
"Kel, sit down," she ordered, her tone as always a tad too bossy; sharing stories by the campfire, right? That was what they were supposed to do, and it certainly wasn't going to happen if he decided to excuse himself.

Kellin sat back down and stick the unlit cigarette in his mouth. "That's why I use just go by Kellin and others still shorten it to Kel. He glanced at her and smiled.
I've been called Kelly... bad things happened to those people... That nickname is cursed. He said this with a haunting tone in his voice. As if he'll scare Erina into not calling him that.
"Well miss Erina Varisha Iba Layl, I shouldn't be feeling awkward about it now and must start treating you as a young lady." He wrapped her back in the jacket and held her close to him. Making her lean her head on his chest like as they were positioned before.
He smiled at her and felt glad she liked his company. Even though they almost killed each other a while ago the tables turned and here they are keeping each other warm and sharing some laughs.

Erina remained a silent a moment, remaining still when he pulled her closer. She nibbled on her lower lip, caught in her own thoughts. "So what happens if I call you Kelly, Kelly?" she teased, smiling innocently. Of course, she was going to stick to Kel, though she did intend to tease him a tad more.
She could hear his heartbeat; she was listening to it, easily as she was practically cuddled up against him. Certainly and evidently, there had been been two sides to Erina; one that just about everyone saw (and wasn't necessarily fake) as well as another that was nevertheless as sarcastic and teasing as always, though a tad less violent.
Surprisingly, the difference between the two was actually rather grand.
"Why'd ya smoke?" she asked casually; she had tried it once and honestly couldn't understand why anyone would be the least bit tempted to do so.

Kellin pulled her away from him and tackled her to the ground."You really wanna find out, kid?" He said with a threatening tone. His eyes were glaring straight at her but his mouth was curving into a smirk.
He held both her hands above her head with one hand gripping both arms. His free hand lit the cigarette. He didn't really know what the exact answer to Erina's question about his smoking is. 'It makes me feel like I'm back home again... It helps me through my home sickness.' He thought to himself as wisps of white went out of his nostrils.
He felt warm, a little woozy but it was gradually dying down. He looked down at Erina and lowered his head, the tips of their noses touching. He was feeling a little high and he had no idea he was smiling but he maintained the glare in his eyes.
'These aren't the ordinary sticks I smoke.'

"I always do," she smirked, not finding the need to defense herself just yet. She watched him as he lit the cigarette, wrinkling her nose at the scent. "Have to do it right in front me?" she muttered; this could be just enough punishment from calling him Kelly.
She raised her eyebrows, waiting for an answer. "Kel... ?" she finally questioned when their noses met. The smile was also a bit off. Slowly and calmly, she bent her knees, prepared to kick him off of her. Nevertheless, the weight of her restraints was working against Erina, making the effort she'd have to put into it larger.
"Kel," she repeated, taking the liberty of placing her lips against his cheek and laying a soft kiss on it.
She wanted to get an answer before kicking him in the stomach.

"Thought you've accepted me for who I was, you shouldn't be complaining, dear." He leaned away as he laughed, smoke accompanying his mouth's every movement.
Kellin couldn't really stop himself from laughing as if he didn't hear Erina call her, but he did only it was barely audible for him anyway. "Yes, honey? Oh you were asking why I smoke, right? So I won't feel like I'm so far from home." He turned serious. "Well... it was home, I guess what I miss are the people that made it a home."
The melancholic emotion died down and he was back to his drugged self. "Your kiss tickles." He kept on chuckling and then stopping then chuckling again. "Anymore, questions, darling?" Chuckle. Stop. Breath. Chuckle.

Erina really couldn't help but not take him seriously. Who would? "That's hardly an answer; why did you start smoking. I mean, why weren't you disgusted by it? I mean, are those even ordinary cigarettes?" She took the liberty of making her every thought audible. He was acting peculiar; even though he had done this before, she most certainly wasn't getting the same vibe.
He was a bad actor, just as well.
"Anymore questions. Are you high?" she giggled, not intending to take him seriously, drugged or not. "Wait! Never mind that," she quickly added, freeing her hands from his grip. And with that, she rushed to grab the cigarette, placing it between her lips.
Inhale.
"Oh god, that's horrid!" she shouted, coughing. "Even worse than the usual," she muttered under her breath. "You really are high, Eh?" she giggled, stick placed between her two finger.
"There is no way I'll accept you like this," she joked, giggling faintly. It was placed between her lips once more. She knew well enough the beating the crap out of him wouldn't be of any use, and that was probably the only thing she would do. Her logic usually wasn't the best, anyhow.
Besides, even if someone caught them, she could easily point her finger at him.
"Cool..." she mumbled, staring at the the smoke that escaped her lips. "You saw that, didn't you?" Erina added, attention shifting to him once more.

Kellin was starting to lose his grip on reality. He could barely hear Erina. But he still tried his best to get back to the conversation.
"They're not disgusting. Well these are but... meh."
He laughed rather loudly and obnoxiously, clearly indicating that he wasn't himself.
Kellin gave her a nod and some more that he was starting to imitate a bobble head. He couldn't stop nodding, laughing and slurring his words that he can't even understand what he had said.
"It's horrid..." He repeated what she said in her tone of voice "but you keep on smoking MY cigarette." He tried to take it away from her but his head felt heavy.
"Lemme finish that... See what? Huh???"

Erina tilted her head to one side when her attention shifted back to him. She watched him as he continuously jerked his head. She blinked ten times too many. "Your laugh is disgusting! It's like... the one from...hyenas...in cartoons," she remarked, squinting at him.
"Ay, don't mimic me!" she ordered, voice as stern as the snow that slowly melted under the fire's heat. She pushed herself back, avoiding his jumpy attempts to retrieve the cigarette. "It was in the jacket that I was wearing," she corrected, sticking out her tongue.
She was starting to feel rather lightheaded, actually. She let herself fall against the ground, melted snow--now water--soaking her hair, turning the once scarlet red to one that was more tinted--russet. Shivers ran up and down her spine, and she raised her head, looking up at him. "Kellin 'Kelly' Johan Quilly, C'mere, lad!" she yelped, head plopping against the ground once more.

"The world is disgusting and filled with disgusting creatures!" Kellin shouted at no one in particular. The substance from the cigarette has affected both of them now.
He was too high to stop Erina, how could he control her when he was out of himself as well. "It was MY jacket, Riri... drop the stick already."
"Should have just gone deeper into the forest than get you into my mess.. Don't call me Kelly, Iba... Damn it. Move over!" He couldn't take impact from the drug. His head was throbbing in pain, everything was blurry and his ears rang. He flopped, face down on the snow beside Erina. He didn't feel anything, not even a shiver. He'll get colds and have Erina to blame or just ask her to help him get better. For now, he's enjoying the freezing facial.

"Yadiyadi yada," she replied childishly, watching as he fell down next to her. "Isn't that cold?" she questioned, curiously looking at him, eyes flicking between the cigarette and his hair.
She contemplated.
Sticking the cigarette in between her lips once more, she pushed herself into a sitting position. She then pulled him up, failing miserably. Instead, she rolled him over, plopping over him seconds after. "Hmm..." she mumbled, spitting the cigarette at the fire. "There ya go!" she smiled cheerfully, resting her head over hands that lied on his chest.
"No one's called me Iba in a long time..." she mumbled thoughtfully, glancing at him a moment. "We should get going, or something" she added randomly, eyes a mere half open.
She still wasn't thinking straight, but the cold had its ways of knocking some sense into her, at least. She'd get off him if he asked her--and if she managed to find the motivation and will power. "I ain't carrying ya," she commented, eying him.

Kellin was fast asleep and felt nothing even if Erina moved him so much. The sudden weight on his stomach woke him up from his nap. It was probably due to the lack of air flowing through his lungs that woke him up but for someone who was already having trouble breathing. He actually liked the feeling of someone laying her head on his chest.
It was the cigarette.
"I feel nothing! And I can't breathe!" His voice cracked as he screamed. "Get off of me please, Miss Erina Layl." He choked as he felt her getting heavier. The effect of the substance was wearing off.
Just in time for them to get out of here and walk back to the school grounds.
He then remembered what he reasoned out to get out of the dorm and get some air. "We've got to bring back some firewood." The slurs turned into clear words and the tone of voice lost its cheerfulness, seriousness replaced it followed by a stern and somewhat worried look.
Stars were starting to appear, they had to gather some firewood for Kellin's dorm and make a torch out of another pile to light their way.
