History;
Ace Love was raised by both of his parents.
Alexander Love and Amy White had met by accident at the coffee shop. While it wasn't forbidden, it was love at first sight. Their story was that of movies, Alexander being the innocent sucker and Amy being the step-mother of their son, Ace, that was born a good two years after they had met.
Alex had been a charming young man, aged at a mere twenty-five years old when he met her. Amy was twenty-seven years old, poor, sad and desperate.
A year after their first encounter, the two lovebirds had gotten married. Alexander was actually a naïve man, having easily fallen for the human who had actually merely taken advantage of him; he was a wealthy hard-working man. Since Alex had insisted on his wife's happiness, it wasn't long before the couple had bought a house by the sea, spending romantic evening on the shore.
It wasn't long before Amy was pregnant and they were expecting a boy.
Just as his parents surrounded him with love and care, Alexander did the same to his son, Ace. Even though Amy considered their relashionship fake and based on her lies, she was nonethless jealous; she needed the attention.
Since his father was usually out working, Amy ended up taking care of Ace, a child that she had learned to dislike. He had been home-schooled by her; she insisted, and Alex wasn't one to refuse. Once he had learned basic mathematics and became able to read and write simple English, Amy started to neglect him.
He was forced to run errands and do houseword, never complaining as his mother had convinced him that he was one of the lucky ones. She scared him with threats and stories; how most halflings were abandoned or abused. Ace quite simply obeyed: working hard during the day and surrounded by his father's love and warmth during the night.
Ace Love grew up to be rather feminine and humble, though all the same he wasn't necessairily smart.
He was sent off to Styrewood at the age of 12, his father visiting him whenever possible while his mother refrained. Due to this, Ace felt rather neglected, though he still showed no signs of sadness or complaint. He struggles with his studies, and given that his entourage wasn't the intellectual type, he continued to struggle. He's looking for a tutor.
Though at a young age, Ace found himself being in a rather odd relationship with a much older male who had harassed him one day; Shadow.
Roleplay Sample;
He paced around the table, lips puckered as his mind continued to study the relationship he was in; he was too young for him. Of course, by that, he meant that Shadow was too old for him. What was the difference, four years, five? It was such an unholy relationship, but he wasn't supposed to ask questions; he didn't have anything to ask, all the same. He pulled open his door, leaving it ajar as he slipped through it, popping his head out to take a peek outside before doing so.
"Good, no sign of him," he mumbled, voice stern despite the softness it had to it.
Tiptoeing, he walked down the hall, heading outside. This type of weather suited him.
He could feel a smirk come to his lips as he thought about what Shadow said; I am earth, and earth needs water to live, does it not?
He was such a smug idiot, who did he think he was? In just about every single game he played, earth overpowered water, which meant that Ace was being dominated by the older male.
He stopped.
He was being dominated by Shadow, wasn't he? Letting out a long sigh and an eye roll, he continued to walk normally; he had a reputation to maintain, and that was being cute and caring. He was certainly cute, and he cared for Shadow, didn't he?
