As most people were rushing to their classrooms, Hayato simply walked as calmly as he could. He didn't have any classes right now, so there was no need for him to rush. Although, he did like to watch people panic, afraid that they're going to be late.
Carrying his books under his right arm and left hand in his pocket, he continued down the hall, but stopped to look out the window. He was against the far wall opposite of the windows, to keep the light from hitting him, but he still liked to look at the sunlit world that he was missing, for reasons that he didn't understand. Perhaps that came from the human side of his family.
He also began to think about what he was going to do. This was his last year as a student at the academy. If he went back into human society, where was he going to go? What would he do? He wanted to stay at the academy to teach, but he wondered if they'd let him after looking over his behavior. He then felt that it was still too early to think about those things.
As the sound of people running to class began to fade to silence, Hayato still heard a couple footsteps from farther down the hall. He turned his attention away from the window and toward the source of the footsteps. If they had classes at this time too, he began to think that he hoped they would make it on time...but the thought was more sarcastic than anything. He liked to watch people panic over things. Now that was probably from his demon side.

Remy was one of the lucky twelfth graders in the academy that didn't have class next. He had seen a whole horde of students stampede past, yet didn't feel intimidated in the slightest; in fact, he actually felt some joy that he wasn't among them. After all, who really liked class? Certainly not him. Especially after math class. The blond was not good in math at all. He tried, he honestly and truly tried to make effort in math. He tried studying for two hours each night and nothing had worked. His math grades had not risen the slightest percent from the C minus that he had been getting since he was old enough to start school. His talent lay in performing arts, not some random numbers with a whole bunch of crosses and lines.
The student rush was just about over as he sauntered down to where his locker was. This was the period right before classes ended and Remy was sure that he needed books for homework; especially not his math book. How he hated that overweight thing. Grimacing at it once more, he quickly punched in the number combination into his locker and tossed the thing in, very glad to be rid of it once more.
Slamming the locker shut, he continued down the corridor, striking up a hasty pace for no real reason. The black eagle pendant rested between his collar bones, hanging from the silver chain clasped around his neck. At times, it was disturbed by his t-shirt, slipping over the collar of the blue cotton. Despite it being cold outside, Remy had not bothered with a jacket; he was rarely outside in this weather anyways. When he looked ahead, he saw that there was someone else in the corridor as well, the halfling grinned and made his way over; this person did not look like he was going to class even if he did have some books with him. "Hi!" Remy said cheerfully, "I don't suppose you're going to class now?" He asked, though he felt it was unnecessary.

"Yuhp, yuhp, alright." Sammi kept repeating as her teacher was helping her. The teacher had a free period, and apparently was not worried about making Sammi late. But it had a slight benefit, she would be getting help; Social Studies and History wasn't exactly her strongest subject. She preferred the maths and sciences. And she was about to be late for her science class. "You got that?" Her teacher asked. "Yes, thank you!" "I suggest you find a tutor, alright? I'll try to see if anyone is up for the job. Go on to your next class now." In response, Sammi nodded and then sped out of the classroom. She quickly made her way to her locker, then she quickly began to spin the code. Pulling open her locker, she threw what she had in her hands into it. Sammi then searched for her science book and binder.
She heard a voice from down the corridor. Peeking behind the locker door, she saw two boys. Seniors. She assumed in her head. They must not have had a class right now. Taking her mind off them for a moment, she pulled out her class items and shut the door.
Samantha began to walk swiftly down the hallway, passed the two boys, secretly hoping they didn't see/speak to her.

Hayato saw that the footsteps were coming from a guy that looked to be around his age. The guy was putting things in his locker, of course, since a lot of people had already finished their classes. Hayato was planning to just take his books to his dorm, but he was beginning to reconsider. Studying was just too boring. Then, the guy began to approach him and then greeted him.
"Yo," Hayato responded, taking his hand out of his pocket to wave, like he knew the guy. Although, he thought he had seen this guy before. Perhaps around the dormitory. "Nope. I'm done for the day. I assume you are too, huh? My name's Hayato, by the way."
Then, Hayato heard more footsteps. He turned his attention to them and saw a girl, who looked like she could be a sophomore. She looked to be heading to class, but he figured that he could have a little chat with her too. He looked at her books and saw that she was probably heading to a science class. Well, hanging out would be more fun than sitting in a boring classroom, right?
"Hey there, cutie," He greeted, walking out in front of her and winking. "Why don't you join in the conversation? It'd be fun."
That's right. Who needed science anyway?

Of course he would be out of class; Remy just remembered glimpsing him around the dorm on the upper floor; he didn't quite remember but was sure that the guy - Hayato - had a room rather close to his. Maybe, maybe not, the halfling had a habit of confusing people on accident and somehow had never been able to break the habit. It was a good thing most people seemed to remember him though. "Yep!" Remy verified cheerfully, sticking his hands in his jeans pockets, "I just escaped from math class. That was horrible!" He shuddered, remembering the horrifying time he had with the numbers swimming around in his head.
He seemed almost oblivious to the footsteps coming from behind him and just went ahead and returned Hayato's greeting with his name. "Oh! I'm Remy!" Just then, a girl walked past and the other boy's attention shifted to her. Following likewise, he noticed that the girl had reddish hair. It was light brown, not blond, and though he was almost ten centimeters taller than she was, he couldn't see her eyes. She definitely did not look like a senior and Remy had not been in the girls' dormitory before and couldn't have decided like that.
"Yes, do join us! Class is boring," he rolled his eyes and smiled at her. Remy would definitely have taken the chance to miss class if he could. Unless it was dance class. He would always go to dance no matter what.

Lino slowly paced forward, counting his own footsteps as he did so, something to keep him busy while he walked towards his room. He had been in Styrewood for about 2 years now, he wouldn't say they were his worst, but most likely the most boring. His head was tilted down as he walked, his faded black outline of his hair falling in front of his olive eyes, merging with some of his natural russet hair. How he could see through all that hair that completely covered his sight was not a miracle, he just didn't feel like pushing it out of his eyes or behind his ears, it would simply reposition itself in front of his eyes once again, wouldn't it? He looked up a moment as he heard a couple of students conversing. That same moment he nearly tripped over someone's foot. Nearly didn't mean he stopped before he did, he merely managed to stop the fall. He turned around, looking back to see exactly who or what he tripped over. Oh, it was girl's foot. "Lovely" he muttered sarcastically. "Sorry.." He told her, his eyes briefly examining her, then looking at the two guys that were around her. She had light brown hair. He thought a moment, then placed his handsin his cargo pants' pockets.

One of the senior boys had approached Sammi right in her path and gave her an awkward wink, asking her to join the conversation. She hesitated until the other spoke, saying the same thing. Also adding that class was boring. Sammi was about to decline their request, when she felt a bump on her foot and a being stumble in front of her.
It was yet another boy, except Samantha was almost sure he was in her grade. He gave a short apology and Sammi softly said, "No worries, it's fine, really." She then turned back to the other boys and added, "I mean, I guess I would love to, but no thanks. I need to get to class. I'm going to be late."
She spun on her heel and began to walk, but then she turned again and mentioned, "Class isn't always boring. Sometimes it's the upside to a day." She gave a small grin and shrugged, waiting for their response. She shortly panicked in her head about the fact that she was going to be late for one of her classes. Oh wait, she was already late. The halls were definitely clear.

Hayato nodded in agreement to what Remy had to say about class being boring. He actually couldn't agree with him more. However, before Hayato could say anything else, someone else walked over and almost tripped on the girl's foot. Now, they had more people to join the conversation. But since the guy was...well, a guy, Hayato wasn't as interested in him. He then listened to what the girl had to say.
"Oh, come on," Hayato said, walking in front of her again. "You never learn anything anyway. Besides, just skipping one class won't hurt. Just tell them you were sick." He smiled and looked at the guy who tripped earlier. "You join us too. It'll be fun."
He looked at the girl and winked again. "Now, what's your name, pretty lady?" He asked. "I'm Hayato."
Hayato could tell that she was afraid of missing her class, which made this all the more fun. He didn't know about the other guy, but if it were true for him as well, this could me very entertaining. And, of course, he thought the girl was cute.

Well, weren't things lively today in the hallway? Just as the girl was about to open her mouth and speak, another guy came tripping over her. Remy raised his eyebrow amusedly, watching as he managed not to fall to the ground even after he'd tripped. That would just have been embarrassing, wouldn't it? He tilted his head as the two younger students exchanged a few lines, but frowned as the girl declined; the only class that was an upside to the day was dance for him. And that didn't come around very often.
"You are late," Remy pointed out, "very late. I don't think the teacher think you're going any more." And then he frowned, thinking of another possibility why they wouldn't join the conversation, "you don't think we're... more boring than teachers, do you?" He asked, frowning. They could be undesirable to talk to, for all he knew. While he didn't like to think that, it was a very real possibility.

Clearly Lino had forgotten about class and obviously he had no intent in going now that he remembered. He took a quick glance at his wrist, eying it for a moment as if looking at a watch. "Yes, very late indeed," he grinned, tone as sarcastic as always. "But, really, you're already late, so I don't see what's stopping you. No harm in skipping one class," he shrugged his shoulders as he faced the girl for a moment before shifting his attention to the other two.
"Heck, you could even use me as an excuse; just about everyone knows that I pick a fight with just about anyone. Got in your way and you couldn't make it. Not that big of a lie," he shrugged once more, shoving his hands into his pockets as he quietly eyed the area. The hallway was now near empty. He wasn't really sure as to why he insisted on her joining them, or why he would join them, but he had nothing better to do other than get caught in a fight, as always.
