Hair; Although she has glossy, straight hait, Haruka prefers to keep her hair short. Her bangs are right swept, going down just a little below her chin. The rest of her hair is significantly shorter, taking on a shaggy, spiked look. She almost never wears anything in her hair.
Eyes; Despite their Asian shape, Haruka's eyes are a bright, piercing amber, burning with a rebellious and active energy.
Build; Haruka is tall for her age and surprisingly thin. One would not guess that she eats quite a lot and plays a surprising amount of sports. As a girl, however, she is not very special, being flat and having no curves at all.
Height; 1.65 m
Personality; Haruka is your classic tomboy, indulging in sports and preferring to resort to violence rather than diplomatic means. She is quiet, but impatient and while being respectful, she has a habit of being blunt and using rather strong language. It is somewhat hard to be noticed by Haruka unless she has something to respect you for; she does not take much notice in intellectual business and the easiest way is to beat her in some kind of sport or display some kind of motivation and determination. If a trait like that is shown, Haruka could consider a person like that a friend, or someone that she knows rather than "everyone else".
Sexuality; Heterosexual

- Birds
- Ice cream
- Pizza
- Martial arts
- Playing any kind of game sports

History; Haruka was one of the people who had the privilege of growing up with both parents. While she mostly stayed with her human father and half-brother Nekonny, Haruka's demon mother enjoyed taking her for trips, taking her out of school early for the holidays. Despite her close bond with her mother and brother, Haruka has never actually made any bonds - familial or friends. At the age of seven, Haruka had managed to convince her mother to sign her up at the local dojo, where she started her career as a martial artist. She had never been exceptional in the Japanese schooling system and with the introduction of a new pastime and sport, Haruka's grades dropped until she barely passed. Constant teasing about her grades encouraged the young halfling to become a troublemaker and tomboy, amplified after Nekonny's leave to attend Styrewood. This behavior and constant complaints from her teachers soon drove her father crazy, and as much as he appealed to her mother, she didn't care or try to change this behavior. After three grueling years, in which Haruka's reputation as a strong, yet quiet tomboy started to build up, her father finally sent her to Styrewood.
Roleplay Sample; The girl crossed her arms, glaring into the middle distance, as though she could see through the red nylon material straight in front of her eyes. While she did an acute vision compared to most, she couldn't actually see though something no matter how much she liked. Despite her general Asian appearance, Haruka had piercing amber eyes that set her apart from the others. It didn't help much that she had cut her hair so it was spiky and short, not even touching her shoulders. The longest part of her hair was her bangs, which framed her face, falling down to just below her chin. When the line finally moved, she exhaled sharply, putting her foot forward...
... A great half a step. Why was the line so slow especially when she just wanted a little pizza? By now Haruka was losing her patience and a short dark brown Ugg boot started tapping the cafeteria ground impatiently, willing the line to move forward about fifteen more people so that she could get a slice of pizza.
Despite her rather masculine haircut, she wore a pair of black and white striped leggings and a black skirt mostly hidden under a black coat despite the heating in the cafeteria. A pair of black feather earrings dangled from each ear, brushing the side of her neck every time she turned. In a way it was a reminder of her gift; the ability to speak with avians, which was what ended her up here. Not that the ninth grader minded of course, there were people of all abilities here; some were good at science, others in math and some - like her - were best in sports. Haruka herself had joined the basketball team and attended every practice so far; in fact, it was because of the practice that she was starving and really needed food.
Now... would the people just hurry up and decide what they wanted to eat already?
